CANDIDATE FOR REGIONAL COUNCILLOR
Richard Park
Using a sports analogy, we need to win games at home and away to succeed. That’s why I’m running for Regional Councillor. My focus is three-fold: (i) master our local finances to protect taxpayers, quality of services and infrastructure, (ii) advocate fiercely at the regional table to build up our reputation as a credible partner and secure our fair share, and (iii) collaborate closely with dedicated staff and community leaders who bring the vision to life, Council cannot do it alone.

Why I’m Running
Hi everyone, my name is Richard Park and one of the greatest decisions I've made in my life is moving my family to Port Perry and Scugog.
I have lived in downtown Port Perry since 2020 and have had the privilege of serving this community since 2017 as a member of the Old Flame Brewing Company.
Through helping build both my family and brewery, I have gotten to know this community through the lens of a father (Charlie and Henri's Dad), business partner (Old Flame), coach (Prince Albert Basketball Club), volunteer (In Training for Scugog Fire Recruit Class 26-03) and most importantly a neighbor.
I have crossed paths with incredible people throughout this community and it is for them I put my hand up to serve.
